One of the most endearing musicals of all time will come to Frankfort Community High School with the production of “Grease.” It will afford an opportunity to showcase the talented Redbirds, as dozens of kids will take to the stage to reflect the 1972 phenomenon that, at the time, became the longest-running musical along “the great white way.”
The FCHS production will be held in Paschedag Auditorium on Friday, March 26, at 7 p.m.-March 27 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 28, at 2 p.m.
This will be a must-see show and the trifecta, attending all three performances, would be a good investment of your entertainment dollars. Tickets are available by calling the high school office and speaking with Mary Lou Hogg at extension 100.
There will be fifty high school players and ten from CJHS performing, an extravaganza in every sense of the word. Kay Levanti is directing the show. “This is a marvelous production with lots of excitement and energy,” she enthused. “The dance segments are awesome!”
Elizabeth Robinson and Claire Spears are helping with the all-important choreography. Nick Norovich is involved with lighting and programs and Norovich, Mike Stewart, and Bill Levanti work the magic with the scenery. Kendra and Henrietta Murphy are involved in costuming and Roger Wilburn handles the sound. Orchestra members include Mark Wayer, Andrew White, Danny Parkhill, Joey Girth, Don Kragness, Debbie Williams and John Odle.
