Matthew is the son of Dennis and Kim Followell of Benton.
Davee is a 2005 graduate of Frankfort Community High School.
She is currently enrolled at John A. Logan College in the court reporting program.
Matthew is a 2000 graduate of Benton Consolidated High School.
He is a coal miner at Willow Lake Mine in Equality and a mining technology student at Southeastern Illinois College.
The couple will be married on June 6, 2009 at Immanuel Baptist Church in Benton, Illinois.
The couple is going to honeymoon in Jamaica.
