Announcing the 50th Wedding Anniversary of Jake and Carolyn ( Boatright) Vanwey. Married July 4, 1959. Jake Vanway is the son of the late Jake C. and Emma Vanwey. He has three brothers Cliff, Ronnie, and the late Gary Vanwey. Carolyn ( Boatright) Vanwey is the daughter of the late William J and Lucille Boatright ( Hurd). She has one sister Joyce Barter and one deceased Brother Jerry. Jake and Carolyn have three children Renee Newberry of Benton, Claudia Vanwey of west Frankfort and Tim Vanwey . They have six grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. Jake is a retired welder. He spends his free time bass fishing with his buddies and grandsons. When not fishing he takes care of his youngest grandson. Carolyn works full time at Walmart. She spends her spare time with her sister Joyce and here Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
