According to West Frankfort Chief of Police Jeff Tharp, J&S Professional Pharmacy was broken into at some point during the early morning hours Monday.
Tharp phoned the newspaper just after 4 a.m. to report the break-in and intimated that a suspect or suspects had been taken into custody by law enforcement.
Tharp said crime scene investigators are expected to be on the scene during the morning and intimated that the alleged perpetrator or perpetrators may have been seeking prescription drugs.
