Four men were taken into custody Monday in connection with the recent robberies of several Sonic Drive-In locations throughout the region.
Dustin R. Cole, 17; Austin T. Crites, 18; and Jeffrey S. Leffler, 20, all of Mt. Vernon, Ill., were taken into custody Monday as they attempted to rob the Metropolis, Ill. Sonic location. A fourth suspect, Jesse D. Sheppard, 20, of Ledbetter, Ky., was subsequently arrested in Livingston County, Ky.
