A substitute teacher in southern Illinois is accused of having sex with a female student.
Prosecutors in Jefferson County have charged 35-year-old Sean Tolley of Mount Vernon with criminal sexual assault involving a student between the age of 13 and 18.
Authorities contend the sexual misconduct happened last June.
Tolley has been a substitute teacher at Mount Vernon Township High School.
He's free on $150,000 bond, although bond conditions bar him from stepping foot on any school's grounds.
Tolley doesn't have a listed home telephone number. His attorney, Scott Quinn, declined to discuss Tolley's case Monday, saying he believes it's best to let the legal process run its course.
