CJHS Head Coach Holly Lewis’ softball team once again flexed its collective muscles Tuesday, routing Carbondale 17-1 in three innings.
Mackenzie Campbell led the Junior Lady Redbirds offensive onslaught with a 3-3 day at the plate. Jacklynn Calvert and Bry Rich also added two hits apiece in the ‘Birds’ hit parade.
Sarah Aldridge was winning pitcher for CJHS, which improved to 5-1 on the season.
The junior high softball team will be back in action against Harrisburg Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Frankfort Community Park
